Parkside - The agent's house

In 1908 a house was designed and built for the agent of Weeting Hall estate. The design was by the architects Edward Boardman & Son of Norwich. The house was sited on the Methwold/Lynn road about half-a-mile from the mansion. In design it was similar to the electrician's house and contained a drawing and dining room, kitchen, scullery on the ground floor, with three bedrooms on the first floor. Outside there was a washhouse, woodhouse, WC and well. The grounds contained a summerhouse, loosebox, stall and coach house. In the 1980's an extension was added, fortunately in the same architectural style, making it one of the largest houses in the village.
